Virtual Women’s Seder 2022 - Moving Forward in Harmony

On Thursday, April 7, 2022, The Jewish Federation of Western CT celebrated its Annual Women’s Seder virtually, with old friends and new friends from all parts of Western and Northwestern Connecticut. Women’s Seder chairs, Pauline Zimmerman and Lisa Miller, greeted the attendees and set the tone for the welcoming event. The Seder was led beautifully by Rabbi Rhonda Nebel of Congregation B’nai Israel in Danbury, and every woman participated in the reading of the Haggadah.

Cantor Laura Breznick of Temple Sholom New Milford, Cantor Penny Kessler of UJC Danbury and Linda Goodman, Sacred Music Director of B’nai Israel Southbury, led the women in the singing of Passover songs and helped to create an atmosphere fitting for the joyful celebration of freedom and thankfulness. A meal consisting of traditional Seder fare, along with a Seder Plate, was provided to each of the participants prior to the program so that the entire group could enjoy them together during the Seder.

Special thanks to Adam Broderick Salon and Spa of Southbury and Ridgefield.
