Security Meeting – Protecting Houses of Worship & Addressing the White Supremacist Movement

The Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut is convening a panel to address the increased incidence of anti-Semitism both nationally and around the world, along with the threat posed by white nationalism.

We invite clergy, faith leaders, and concerned community members to join our expert panel for a discussion on the latest recommendations for security and protection. We will present approaches for combating the rising tide of extremism in America, how to report on suspected and actual hate crimes, how to decipher hate symbols, how to partner effectively with law enforcement, and how to identify and counter emerging threats.

Featuring Panelists:
Steve Ginsburg, ADL, Director – Connecticut Region
Douglas J. Pesce, Protective Security Advisor, Connecticut
District Cybersecurity and Infrastructure, Security Agency, Dept. of Homeland Security
