Ethiopian National Project (ENP) was created as Jewish Federations’ arm to advance the integration of Ethiopian- Israelis in all realms of Israeli society together with the Government of Israel and the Ethiopian- Israeli community itself. The fruits of our shared labors are clearly evident as we see trends of advancement and excellence of ENP participants in rising matriculation rates, scholastic achievement and boosted self-confidence. ENP has succeeded in doing what few others have accomplished: craft an extraordinary program that effectively targets an in-need population and transforms their futures. Thanks to the generous support of the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut, with matching Governmental funds, ENP has provided SPACE (School Performance and Community Empowerment) to 20 junior and senior high school children in Afula.
