The purpose of the grant funding will allow Family and Children's Aid to work with families, government agencies, schools and other key players to create individual goals with clear expectations for each child, and to monitor their progress.

"Each of our community based services is very unique in its area of focus and treatment model. Some of these services provide in-home support and treatment for the entire family where the child is residing, others provide supervised visitation and reunification for DCF-protected youth. Our Child Advocacy Center provides support to children and families who have been through significant trauma and abuse, including specialized and sensitive investigation services."
